Holding on tightly, I fight the flow. It is not going where I need it to go! So I swim against the current, losing strength, losing focus. Alien colors, patterns, shapes and feelings dominate the zone. Maybe the works are just going through a growth spurt and are at that awkward adolescent stage. Abstraction is always looking inward. It is demanding much more of me than work based on something outside of me. I know I have to relax, go deeper and sort these things out. This war must end so that a peaceful, creative sprit can once again dominate and make my spirits soar.
