"God in the whizzing of a pleasant wind
Shall march upon the tops of mulberry trees."
~ George Peel
After picking out this quote,
I went online to look for reference.
Vincent Van Gogh's painting, "Mulberry Tree",
got me excited and energized.
Mulberry Tree - Vincent Van Gogh |
To me, his tree really looked like it was whizzing.
So today, I thought I'd try an interpretation.
I felt like Vincent was standing over my shoulder
the whole time I was painting this.
Thanks for your feedback. It is most appreciated.

The blue in this painting is absolutely electric! Caught my eye immediately!
ReplyDeleteI love that you are doing this series - I've looked at about half and will come back later for a longer peek. Robin Larkspur sent me over from her blog. Trees have always felt like protectors to me. I love to have them on my property standing "guard" and then seeing them, as they should be, out in the open, in all their glory. Your painting is glorious. Ann
