Love this one, Sandy! The fluidity of the sky is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI have also always loved this quote by Andrew Wyeth! You did a beautiful job of capturing the 'bone structure' of this tree!
ReplyDeleteI so agree with the commenters above Sandy!
ReplyDeleteThe whole capturing of the landscape as well
as the bone structure of the tree are quite
stark and captivating. :) One can truly feel
winter in this outstanding painting.
Have you thought about doing a Tree of Life
painting?
Many Blessings to you Beautiful Lady! :)
At first when the trees have lost all their leaves, before the snow flies, it seems sad, barren, stark. But as winter continues, the true beauty of trees is remarkably evident. I never thought of "bone structure", but the poem and this painting bring it out so naturally.
